So long and thanks for 67!

Eden Valley Artists are looking for a newshop window home! The large empty shop windows of 67 High Street have been used since July 2008 by Eden Valley Artists, with the kind permission of developer Regalpoint, to display artwork.

Development is due to commence here shortly so we are now looking for a new home to display our work and that of other local groups and artists. In the past two years we have also displayed the work of artists from Self Unlimited, the Ide Hill Life Drawing Group, recent graduates from West Kent College and over 350 local residents, including many primary schoolchildren, who participated in our community events as part of the Eden Valley Festival in May 2009 and 2010.

Eden Valley Artists would also like to thank Sevenoaks District Council for recent funding which enabled us to buy materials to make plinths and boards to improve our displays.

Thank you too to everyone who has been supportive of our efforts to bring art into the High Street and the many people who have stopped to have a look and taken an interest in the changing displays. We hope you have enjoyed it.

If you know of any available empty windows please let us know. info@edenvalleyartists.com or call 01732 864203

Sevenoaks District Council awarded funding to support EVA’s window project as part of the community grant scheme.
